Michael Dursley - Managing Director
Michael has more than 30 years working in the drilling and production sectors of the energy industry. A founding member of an integrated well construction company created to participate in performance well construction and field developments. Founder and owner of a land drilling company constructing wells for the oil, gas and gas storage, and geothermal industries.
Rory Somerset - Projects Director
Rory is a Petroleum Engineer specialising in drilling and completion fluids. He has 23 years’ global oil industry experience. Rory has an extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience of HTHP, ERD, gas storage, CTD, deep water, MPD and Well P&A. He is a wellbore fluids expert with an in-depth understanding of drilling fluid/ rock interactions for drilling optimisation and broad understanding of well design, project management and cost control.
Neil Cardy - Technical Manager
Neil is an Optimisation and Application Engineer with nearly 40 years of experience in the drilling industry for hydrocarbons and minerals. Originally trained as a geologist he has worked both onshore and offshore in several continents including Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia as an evaluation geologist and also as a logging engineer for both MWD/LWD and slim-hole wireline. His experience includes field operations, operational planning, support, and management. Neil’s specialisation is drilling optimisation, drilling dynamics and development of slim-hole well designs, in particular the min-x™ slim-hole drilling process.
